Snow work is judged on one thing: whether people could get in and out safely this morning.
We added snow and ice management in 2019 so customers had one company looking after their property through the whole year rather than handing it to somebody else every November.
Plowing and clearing
Driveways and commercial lots are plowed, and walkways, steps and entrances are cleared by hand where a plow cannot reach. Snow is pushed to where it will not block sightlines or refreeze across a route people use.
Salting and de-icing
Clearing snow is half of it. Surfaces are salted afterwards so that what melts through the day does not come back as ice on the same path that evening.
